Acceptable Use Policy
Guidelines for responsible use of PDFDig. Because processing is local, much of this is about your own conduct with your own files.
Last updated May 22, 2026
Use your own documents
Only process documents you own or have permission to handle. You are responsible for your rights to the files you use with PDFDig.
Lawful purposes only
Do not use PDFDig to create, alter, or distribute documents for fraudulent, deceptive, or otherwise unlawful purposes, including forging signatures or falsifying records.
- No processing of content you are not authorized to handle.
- No use that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy.
- No attempts to misuse the site to harm other users or systems.
Because PDFDig never receives your files, enforcement of acceptable use relies on you. We cannot inspect or moderate documents we never see.
Security features
Tools labeled experimental or unavailable reflect genuine browser limitations. Do not rely on experimental security features for sensitive protection without independent verification.
Enforcement
Because there are no accounts and no server-side file handling, enforcement is limited to the site itself. Misuse of the website (as opposed to your local file handling) may result in access restrictions.
